Nicole Storey is a wife, mother, and bestselling author who actively combats stereotypes about kids on the autism spectrum. She survives on coffee and believes the world would be a happier place if it were October twelve months a year.
Nicole was born in a small town in Georgia. The eldest of four children, her only escape from her younger brothers was reading tattered, yard-sale paperbacks high in an apple tree in her backyard. She received her first typewriter at the age of 14 and has been writing ever since.
In high school, Nicole was given an assignment in her English class to write a paper on a place she’d love to visit. Instead of choosing reality, Nicole turned to fiction and wrote about a place that doesn’t exist. After presenting her paper to the class everyone, including the teacher, wanted directions on how to get there.
Her first novel, The Chosen One (Grimsley Hollow Book 1), was inspired by her son who has autism and Tourette’s. Her YA series, The Celadon Circle, was inspired by the hit television show, Supernatural.  When Nicole isn’t fighting demons or travelling to magical lands with potty-mouthed pixies, she enjoys cooking, reading, and conspiring with other Indie authors in her Facebook group, Books Untamed.
